Tonsillectomy:day 6-8

Okay I know most of you think this isn't valuble information but I had my tonsils taken out a few weeks ago and made up a plan of what you should do between these days to feel better waking up with less throat or ear pain:

Things you'll need for the night:
Gum (chewing stops ear pain)
something warm (incase gum does not work to put by your ear)
water
alarm clock/phone
2 pillows

(BTW did my best this plan is not full proof)

Firstly when you go to bed tick off EVERYTHING on the list to make sure that you have everything and dont have to rush back and forth.Set an alarm for every 2 hours to wake up and have a drink of water to keep your throat moist and not dry. Some people say that sleeping elavated may help with the ear problem. Gum and something warm is for when you your drink water every 2 hours you may feel a slight burning sensation that may turn into a severe ear popping situation so chew gum or put something warm on your ear.
WAKE UP EVERY 2 HOURS ATLEAST OR EARLIER IF NOT YOU WILL REGRET IT!!

Get well soon :(    :)

Sincerely Kedington,
